Alex Kokkonen

Alex Kokkonen, Ph.D., FCMA is an accomplished executive with extensive international and multi-industry experience established over a twenty-five year career. Alex has genuine global experience gained across in Europe, Asia and North America in seven industries, including the Healthcare, Defence, Consulting, FMCG, IT, Telecommunications, Airline and Finance industries working for major multinational blue chip companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Serco Defence, Nokia, IBM and Deutsche Bank.

Alex has extensive team leadership and project delivery experience in multi-cultural environments across several business functions. She has successfully held a variety of multi-disciplinary leadership positions in Strategy Development, Commercial management, Financial Control, IT strategy, IT management, HR systems implementations, Process and System standardization, outsourcing and several ERP implementations, delivering successfully in a variety of diverse cultural settings.

Alex completed her Ph.D. in Information Systems; Business Process Management focused on the characterisation of expertise in the context of BPM from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. Alex also holds an MBA from Deakin University, Melbourne, a Master in Education (Educational Leadership and Management) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and a Master in Applied Social Science (Counselling) from the Australian College of Applied Psychology.

Alex is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), and a Chartered Practicing Project Director (CPPD). She is currently finalizing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with Deakin University focused on Organizational Consciousness.
